I have counselled numerous powerful executives, who tell me that workplace demands gradually and insidiously require them to stop taking care of themselves, even in the simplest ways: At first it’s skipping lunch, then they’re skipping breakfast, lunch and dinner. They start working longer hours, eventually finding themselves working most of the night, neglecting even their most basic needs (including taking bathroom breaks!) Adapting to these kinds of conditions is possible, but it comes at a high price. I’ve seen many times how this behavior leads to increased physical illness, diminishing mental health, and even complete breakdown.
Kindness Incorporated wants to help you prevent the loss of your vigor, creativity, and dreams, without sacrificing your profitable business or stimulating, lucrative career. This is hard for many people to accept, but my experience shows that it is possible, using my proven methods. My ultimate goal is to put my private practice out of business, eliminating the mental and physical breakdowns caused by the gradual buildup of stress in the workplace.
If you are the leader of a corporation or business, looking for new, effective methods, I can help you develop a healthy and productive workplace environment. Remember: Your relationship with yourself is the single most powerful tool to get you to the top of your game and keep you there.
Is Your Corporate KIND? A Burnout Prevention Quiz
We all know that bad news travels fast, but this is about GOOD NEWS traveling faster.
Without greater willingness to tackle anxiety and depression, a staggering 12 billion workdays will be lost to the two disorders between now and 2030. These are the findings of a World Health Organization (WHO) analysis, recently published in The Lancet Psychiatry.
